Terms of participation

The number of participants is limited to twenty one (21) people, in case the possibility exists, this number will be increased. All the applications will be ranked in order of receipt, as long as their profile satisfy the following requirements:

This restrictions on the maximum number of participants per (P)AS and International WG will be taken into account until the application deadline.

The remaining applicants (until the application deadline) will be placed on a waiting list. Once the application deadline is over, in case any spots are remaining due to the fact that there were not enough applications or to cancellation reasons, the applicants from the waiting list will get these spots in first came/first served procedure.

The participation fee is 100 , including: meals, laboratory equipment, accommodation for six nights (Sunday-Friday) and Final Dinner. The applicant has the option to choose to stay one more night for the surprise (special saturday) by paying 30. The participants must cover their own transport to Seville, Spain. The fee will be paid in cash when the participants arrive in Seville.

Companies to be visited on UAVs & FCS Symposium and some sponsors require personal information of the participants, only for academic and professional use. By signing up, the applicant (including those on the waiting list) agrees that the EUROAVIA UAVs & FCS Symposium organizing group may hand over personal information entered on the signup form to the companies. EUROAVIA UAVs & FCS Symposium working group guarantees the personal information from the applicants is in no other way handed over to any other third party.

The participation procedure will be as follows:

  1. The prospective participant fills out the online application and accepts terms of participation.

  2. EUROAVIA Sevilla sends a request to the respective (P)AS asking for membership confirmation. The request will include information on the participation fee as well as the deadline for cancellations.

  3. The (P)AS confirms the presence of its member at the event after the member has paid 25 as warranty to his/her (P)AS. If the applicant chooses to stay the extra night in Seville, 25 + 7.50 have to be paid as warranty.

  4. The applicant will receive an acceptance confirmation.

  5. If the member participates at the event, the (P)AS returns back the warranty

  6. If the participant cancels before the deadline (February the 16th, 2013), the warranty fee of the member (25 or 25 + 7.50 for the extra night) has to be returned by the respective (P)AS (which is the responsible of its member) to the participant.

  7. If the participant cancels after the deadline (February the 16th, 2013) the warranty fee of the member (50 or 50 + 15 for the extra night) has to be paid by the respective (P)AS (which is the responsible of its member) to EUROAVIA Seville.

  8. If the participant cancels after the last minute deadline (February the 21th, 2013) the participation fee of the member (100 or 100 + 30 fot the extra night) has to be paid by the respective (P)AS (which is the responsible of its member) to EUROAVIA Seville.

  9. If the participant decides to attend the special day ( saturday 9th March ) that will last all day, need to stay one more night until sunday morning so extra night payment of 30 its required.
